Yesterday, I turned a year older. A simple lunch took place down south of Metro Manila with my husband and our little hunk, Dakila. No fancy merriment happened. At this point in my life, being with my family over a delightful meal brings me pleasure and comfort. "Ooh, how fast time flies!" I used to always hear that line from Mommy and Daddy peers. And whenever I do, I ask myself if it is true. The last time I held my camera to cover events was in September of last year as I captured Sophia Cayle's 1st birthday. For several months, the maternity leave sign was hung on the door. But while I was gone, my team of junior photographers stepped up to continue what I couldn't temporarily do. I am grateful that Josef and Hudson had such a good chemistry together. Yes! We are now a family of 3. It has been 5 weeks since I gave birth to our first-born. Surely, life has changed since this bundle of joy came into our lives.
